Hanging Horse's Head
other names:

This odd apparition is common in the Fukuoka and Kumamoto prefectures on the island of Kyūshū.
A grisly horse's head that dangles in the branches of a nettle tree, its origins and its motives are completely
unknown, but its baleful whinnies are terrifying, and those that see it sometimes fall ill.
